                                4500 Blue Clay Rd, Castle Hayne, NC

                                    

Hands on sessions will be held aboard the U.S.S. Battleship North Carolina and at the CFCC North Campus Safety Training Center.

Pre-requisites: TR General Series recommended

Required Equipment:  Students must bring Confined Space PPE, 3- G Rated Carabiners, 2- prussiks (1 long- 1 short), Class 3 Harness & flashlight or Headlamp and Gloves.

                                      

This class will meet the requirements for the NC State TR Confined Space Rescue Series Certification.

Thomas R McNeill Confined Space Rescue Challenge Sept 20-22 2019

Attention all Confined Space Rescue Qualified Personnel:

Announcing the first annual 

Thomas R McNeill (T-Mac) Confined Space Rescue Challenge

Class Description: 

This 20 hr class is designed as a refresher class for Confined Space Rescue. The topics covered will be Scene Control,Hazard Recognition, Hazard Control, Rigging, and Victim Management. This class was Tommy McNeil's idea and was working on the plans at the time of his death. We honor him with this first class of what we hope to be an annual event. Practicals will take place on "The Showboat" the USS NC!  Any and all Confined Space qualified personnel are welcome. 

Prerequisites: TR Confined Space, OSHA compliant Confined Space Entry/Rescue 

Equipment Required: NFPA Class III harness, Helmet, Suitable Rescue Outerwear, Rope Rescue Gloves, 4 G-Rated Carabiners, 2 prusik cords.    

Friday Sept 20 7pm-10pm

Meet at CFCC training center for three hours of Con Space Rescue OSHA standard and rigging review

Sat. Sept 21 8am-5pm

Meet at USSNC for Practicals 

Social Gathering ?? 7pm-?? 

Sunday Sept 22 8am - 5pm
